Top Muskox Hunts

These animals are often hunted in August, September, and October as well as March & April. However each of these hunts is very different from the other in terms of logistics and weather conditions. No matter when you go 100% success is normally the case with very few hunters in the history of muskox hunting not taking home beautiful trophies and a life long memory. An added bonus to the March & April Hunts is the likelihood of encountering wolves. Fall hunts are done by using ATVs to access remote areas where you will hunt out of tented camps. Spring hunts are done on the frozen tundra out of remote cabins or wall tent camps using snowmobiles and sleds. To dates SOA clients have a 140% success rate with several hunters taking two bulls for trophies. Fall hunts can also be combined with lake trout or char fishing.

Muskox hunts are not the most challenging but they are a world class arctic hunting adventure. There are too many details to put into print and the best thing to do is contact our office for more information and an in detail discussion about which hunt would be right for you.

Polar Bear Hunts

While the Polar Bear is ESA listed by the USFWS the Canadian Government is still allowing hunters to harvest a quota of polar bears each year. We are advising our clients to hunt for, harvest, and have their polar bears mounted and stored in Canada. As soon as there is a change in the political structure of America we will likely be able to import these trophies again. This is not the first time that the Polar Bear has been ESA listed and in the past hunters have been able to import their trophies at a later date. All of our hunting is done in the NWT with Inuit guides from dog sled teams. Our success rate is normally very high with big mature bears taken by our clients.
