NORTHERN ROCKIES WILDERNESS HUNT

At this time there is nowhere else in North America that has a better wilderness elk hunting experience than in Northern British Columbia. The pristine wilderness areas where our clients hunt are filled with elk, moose, caribou, mountain goats, sheep, grizzlies, and more wildlife than you can imagine. The liberal hunting seasons allow for our clients to pursue elk (and other species) from mid August through the peak of the September rut and into late October each fall. All hunting is done by horseback and our clients have the option of hunting out of remote range cabins, wall tents, or even a five star main lodge – we have the flexibility to book the perfect hunt to fit each person’s needs. And the quality of the hunting is on par with many of the very limited draw areas in the western United States. Here our clients get guaranteed licenses and tags – no drawing required. Just book a hunt and plan your adventure!

The elk hunting in these areas is so incredible that we boast a 95% success rate on six point bull elk over the last ten years in British Columbia. While the average 6x6 bull elk our clients harvests will fall between 280-320 B&C we have also had the fantastic fortune to harvest bulls that have even exceeded 340 B&C as recently as last season. Elk numbers in British Columbia are on the rise and hunting has never been better.

We offer five and seven day elk hunts as well as seven to ten day combination hunts. You can easily combine an elk hunt with moose, mountain goat, or even mountain caribou in some areas. We customize every hunting package to fit the individual needs of our client. Please call our office today to discuss your options and available dates for the upcoming seasons.

BRITISH COLUMBIA WILDERNESS HUNT

(No Bush Flight Required) – if you want to experience British Columbia’s exceptional elk hunting experience but do not want the added expense of the air charter into the back country we have two other areas with solid elk hunting available. One is located in SE British Columbia east of Radium Hot Springs in the Rocky Mountains. Here our clients are picked up at the Cranbrook Airport and driven to the main lodge/cabin on the wilderness boundary. From here hunters horseback hunt their way back into the remote spike camps which are comfortable one room cabins deep in the wilderness. Later in the season hunting is done primarily out of the main lodge but the September hunters focus on back country areas during the peak of the rut. We offer rifle elk hunts from September 10th through October 20th which takes in all of the rut and some post rut. Our elk hunts can be combined with mountain goats, mule deer, and sometimes whitetail during the later dates in October. Our other area is located further north and has a large river that flows through the valley. Our clients often access their remote camps by jet boat and then hunt from horseback each day from those remote camps. Both are extreme opposites of the other in terms of terrain but both present our clients with a high success rate on mature 6x6 or larger bull elk. If you would like to book a hunt for British Columbia please contact our office for details, dates, and availability.
