FRAZIER RIVER REGION

The region of British Columbia approximately six hours north of Vancouver and two hours south of Williams Lake is tremendous mule deer country and has historically produced some awesome mule deer bucks. This region is where the timber meets the open country and rolls into the agricultural areas. Our clients hunt in and around alfalfa fields and the mountains surrounding them from mid October through mid November. This is rolling hills, big drainages, and breaks country that is accessed by 4wd, ATV, and on foot with every hunt customized to fit the needs of the individual hunter. All hunters stay in a nice house facility during the duration of their stay. Hunting packages are ALL INCLUSIVE of 2x1 guide ratio, license, tag, and tax expenses as well as airport pickup and delivery, meals, lodging, and field care of meat & trophy. HIGH COUNTRY & WINTER RANGE HUNTS

For hunters looking to pursue bucks during the early September seasons without the worry of the long draw odds the above alpine region six hours north of Vancouver is a hot choice. It is not uncommon to see 5-10 bucks in a single bachelor group during the first weeks of September before they shed their velvet and move into the timber where they are much harder to find. These hunts are done out of remote cabins and sometimes wall tent camps in beautiful above alpine settings. Good optics are the key and flat shooting rifles help! This is an all horseback access hunt and you need to be in good shape to maximize your odds of success. 180-190 class velvet bucks have been taken here and our clients have historically had a 90% or better success rate in early September. We shut down the mule deer hunting in mid September and do not start again until mid November when the snows have the mule deer pushed down into the winter range where they rut each year. We offer these hunts from November 15-December 10 and snow makes this hunt go from great to fabulous. During the late season hunts we stay in the main lodge and go out by 4wd and snowmobile to glass for mule deer on the mountainside above a 50 km long lake. It is not uncommon to see 5-10 bucks a day and during the rut you could catch a true giant tending his does. These hunts have guaranteed tags – no draws!
