If you are a hunter who is only after 160+ class deer and willing to pass on lesser bucks – the best and only place you should be hunting is in the Peace River of NE British Columbia. Here we have a policy of only taking bucks that have reached their mature age and maximum antler growth potential. We do not book hunters here who might harvest bucks that score less than 150 B&C and we have a strict policy of non-return for hunters who shoot young and immature deer. This is not an inexpensive hunt but it is the premier free range whitetail hunt in North America. Our clients are based out of either the main lodging facility or from remote ranch houses. The exclusive guide use area is over 3,600 square miles so we have to utilize different lodging situations in order to utilize all of the hunting areas. Our clients will be booked and guided according to their needs. All hunting is done from either elevated or ground blind locations over bait – the bait lures in the does – which in turn lure in the bucks during the peak of the November rut. These are also not your short five day hunts – we book all of our clients on ten day hunts so that they have enough time to dedicate to hunting for a truly massive deer. New for 2009 we will also book a handful of early September archery hunters who will be set up in ground blinds on travel the routes of well patterned deer.
