We love to book our clients into the mountains of southeast British Columbia on spring black bear hunts. This is more than a hunt, it is a complete spring bear hunting experience that everyone should enjoy at least once. In the spring black bears are found in the slides, timber cuts, and open ridges eating fresh greens that are popping up following the melt off of winter snow. We do these hunts in the spring because the bears are extremely active and more easily located than in the fall. All packages include the harvest of a second bear provided the appropriate tag is purchased before going into the field. We hunt exclusively by horseback and spot and stalk method and clients have their weapon of choice as an option. We welcome rifle, archery, and muzzleloader hunters alike.
