This is the hottest booking black bear hunt in the world and it takes place on a NW Washington coastal area on tribal Indian lands. The tribal lands opened up to non-tribal hunting in recent years to help curb timber damage done by the over-populated bears that claw bark off trees killing them. The tribe relies heavily on timber revenues, opening the door for tribal guides to take a limited number of hunters for trophy bears. Unlike the rest of Washington, the tribe is permitted to hunt these bears over bait and sell hunts to non-tribal hunters. The bears grow large on a high-protein summer diet of salmon. This means huge bears without paying the high prices of B.C. or Alaska. Hunters often shoot two bears squaring over 7' in size in a single week of hunting - and the second bear is extremely affordable. Our hunting packages do not include meals or lodging, but include guided bear hunts over bait with sites set up for rifle, muzzleloader, or pistol options. All of our hunters book their own accommodations and stay at the local Hotel Casino or a Bed & Breakfast. The guides run trail cameras before and during the spring and fall seasons so hunters can see what has been coming into the baits when they arrive for their hunts. We will be running spring hunts in May and June as well as fall hunts in September through early November. If you want to hunt HUGE BEARS over bait - this is the best hunt in North Amercia... No hunt in Alberta or Saskatchewan can compare for trophy quality, and you have the option to harvest two bears during your hunt.
