Right now we have closed all but one of our caribou camps in Alaska due to the aggressive over harvest and mismanagement of the Mulchatna Caribou herd. Over the years the caribou bag limit was reduced to one bull caribou for non-residents and now the seasons has been shortened dramatically to reduce the harvest. The ONLY way we will book one of our clients on a caribou hunt in Alaska is on a mobile hunting program where we fly you and your guide out to where the caribou herds are found and set down nearby to begin hunting the next day. This means small aircraft (super cub) and light weight gear. This is not an easy hunt but if you want to take a caribou in Alaska during these times you have to be able to go light and be flexible! Our five day hunting packages are all inclusive at $6,500 with a minimum number of two hunters for one guide.
