We hunt the Central Canadian Barren Ground Caribou species in the Nunavut Territory. Our camps are located approximately 120 minutes by float plane north of Yellowknife, NWT which is where all of our hunts begin and end. We have one very deluxe cabin camp along the main path of the caribou migration – however if the caribou are not on that lake we use over 150 miles of waterway to boat north until we find the caribou and then spike camp on the tundra while hunting for the very best trophies and working our way south toward the main camp location. Our hunts all run from mid August through mid September and we have traditionally had the best success rates in the region. Our motto is QUALITY before QUANTITY which means we pay attention to the trophy quality of the caribou and try to focus on harvesting only the best bulls possible. We would rather a client kill one trophy bull than two smaller and immature bulls. Licenses are in extremely limited numbers and we are limited to eight hunters per week for five weeks - fourty hunters maximum each year. All hunters get one wolf permit and a fishing license included in the all inclusive price package and while only a handul of hunters get a shot at a wolf each year everyone can experience some of the finest lake trout fishing in the world.
