These are unique hunts in the ABC Islands of Alaska using skiffs to cruise miles of shoreline glassing for feeding bears. We exclusively hunt during the spring in the month of May for trophy bruins. SE Alaska is well known for 8' to 9' squared bears with deep chocolate brown hides. The coastal Alaskan experience is unique with our clients seeing whales and other sea life as well as hunting the shoreline along old growth rain forest. The SE Alaska hunts are relatively easy and appeal to our older clients who can't hike the hills any longer but still want an exciting brown bear hunt and a high rate of success. |

We offer two different hunts in SW Alaska. One is the spring hunt in April using snowmobiles to access remote valleys to glass for bears just coming out of hibernation. The other is our fall hunt in September when the bears are concentrated on the huge salmon runs. Either way SW Alaska has an excellent brown bear population and we have had a relatively high rate of success on these hunts over the last ten years. The spring hunt does require some level of physical ability to run a snowmobile sometimes as much as 30 to 50 miles a day plus possibly hike on snowshoes. However the fall hunts are easy with jet boat access to most of the salmon spawning beds. |

This is the world series of brown bear hunts and our area of the Alaskan Peninsula is well known for monster bears with several of our clients having taken 10'+ size boars over the last few years. The peninsula is not easy - in fact it is hard country that will test your abilities and your desire to be a bear hunter. But it is also rewarding and is home to the largest bears in Alaska. If you are a no mess around hunter who wants to play in the big leagues then this is your brown bear hunt! |

For our clients who want to hunt for true interior/mountain grizzlies we have two areas in British Columbia. Each is completely different than the other with the SE region (Kootenai) hunts done in the spring months of late May and early June. And in the northern Rockies hunts offered only in the fall months in combination with moose, elk, or other species. Our clients have a long time success rate of 90% or better. |

Right now we have closed all but one of our caribou camps in Alaska due to the aggressive over harvest and mismanagement of the Mulchatna Caribou herd. Over the years the caribou bag limit was reduced to one bull caribou for non-residents and now the seasons has been shortened dramatically to reduce the harvest. The ONLY way we will book one of our clients on a caribou hunt in Alaska is on a mobile hunting program where we fly you and your guide out to where the caribou herds are found and set down nearby to begin hunting the next day. This means small aircraft (super cub) and light weight gear. This is not an easy hunt but if you want to take a caribou in Alaska during these times you have to be able to go light and be flexible! Our five day hunting packages are all inclusive at $6,500 with a minimum number of two hunters for one guide. One on one specialty hunts are available - call our office for details and availability. |
