Our Montana ranches located in the eastern portion of the state have diverse terrain that is ideal for trophy antelope hunting. In some cases we have properties where the antelope are in the timber and easily stalked. But in all cases our ranches have high numbers of antelope and due to the draw we only harvest 4 to 5 antelope bucks a year on over 250,000 acres of private lands. Because our harvest is so low many of our bucks live to older ages and larger sizes. This explains the 82 B&C to 85 B&C bucks that our clients have taken in recent years. Montana antelope licenses are obtained through the draw and first year applicants with zero preference points have a 30% chance of drawing a tag. However with one preference point the percentage or odds of drawing a tag are 100%. In our program hunters book with a deposit and we handle their license applications – then take them on the year when they draw a license. In Montana you cannot just buy a preference point you have to actually apply for the hunt so there is a chance of getting the license the first year you apply.
