Montana has been long known for world class western whitetail hunting. And we have three different outfitters that offer fully guided hunts for trophy bucks, all in the eastern region of the state. All of our hunting is done exclusively on private lands managed or quality whitetail. Licenses are guaranteed through the outfitters in Montana and allow our clients to rifle hunt for trophy bucks from late October thru November during the peak of the rut. The majority of whitetail hunting in eastern Montana is done in open country, around brushy draws, alfalfa fields, or other crops. We have the ability to hunt by spot n stalk or from established stands or ground blinds. The average eastern Montana buck will usually score between 130-150 B&C and bucks much larger are killed each season with our largest whitetail ever killed in Montana scoring well in excess of 170 B&C. Hunters stay in either ranch houses or other lodging facilities on the ranch which are all comfortable with home cooked meals. All hunts are guided 2x1 unless otherwise specified. Our outfitter has several miles of private lands leased along the infamous Milk River and its tributaries. These properties are made up of timbered river and creek bottoms that border alfalfa and other agricultural areas. Archery hunters come in September and hunt from treestands and ground blinds along the timbered edge of the fields. In October and November rifle hunters use spot and stalk techniques to get their bucks. All of our clients stay at our main ranch facility which is a nice doublewide manufactured home filled with taxidermy and all the comforts of home – only with the camaraderie of a hunting camp! The Milk River has exceptional trophy quality and high densities of deer and given another mild winter we should be looking at a fantastic hunt next fall. License deadline is March 15^th without exception so if you want to get in the field – get on the phone and give us a call to get your hunt booked. We limit the camp to six hunters each week to maintain a quality hunting experience and licenses are guaranteed through the outfitter.

Our other eastern Montana whitetail outfitter has approximately seven miles of the Yellowstone River near Sindey, MT leased and it is another area where phenomenal whitetail habitat is producing some whopper bucks. The river bottom is lined with timber that borders alfalfa, corn, and wheat fields. There are treestands located along the timbered river bottom for September archery hunters and our rifle hunters glass from surrounding hilltops and watch long stretches of country. This property has yielded some 170+ class deer in recent times and is probably one of the hottest trophy whitetail locations in Montana.
