Right now British Columbia is the best destination for hunters looking to pursue world class mountain goats. The strict harvest quotas and high populations mean that British Columbia’s goat hunting has never been better than it is right now. We benefit from having outfitters in three different regions of the province and all three have distinctly different hunting areas. The diversity of each hunt means we can customize a goat hunt to fit almost anyone’s needs. We have had 30 year olds in the prime condition of their life take home awesome trophies from physically demanding areas, and we have had hunters in their 60’s and 70’s ride horses above alpine and harvest their first mountain goat. We have hunts that are physically challenging and others that are relatively mild in comparison. One thing that all three of our goat areas have in common – our extremely high success rate. At this time going back ten years we have a 98% success rate on mountain goat hunts and only one of our hunters over the last five years has come back from British Columbia without their mountain goat. The average size has ranged from 8 ½” to 10 ½” with some truly magnificent goats being killed in all three areas.
