The NWT is where you go for the Cadillac of all sheep hunts – the helicopter access hunt. This is the perfect sheep hunt for the guy who does not want to ride horses or backpack the extreme sheep country. Our clients go in by helicopter and are dropped off in spike camps with their guides on the top of the mountain. By starting on top you can glass longer and stay above the rams. This hunt has been done by clients in their 70’s and even 80’s – with a perfect rate of success for SOA clients on mature rams. In recent years sheep in excess of 40” have been taken and they average almost 38” on their rams year in and year out.
