In recent years Utah has fast become one of the top trophy mule deer hunting states. However, while the state is producing awesome bucks, quality licenses are very hard to draw and the top private ranches can be very expensive to gain access to or book guided hunts. In most cases very good outfitters with land management programs are leasing these properties and selectively harvesting only top end deer each season. We specifically only book our clients on the best private ranches enrolled in the state's CWMU program with season dates between early September and mid-November. These ranches vary in size from 15,000 acres to 70,000 acres and all produce top end mule deer bucks each season. Because they are enrolled in the state’s CWMU program the hunters are guaranteed a high demand tag with their hunt. All of our hunters stay in either a nice lodging facility, a cabin, or a wall tent camp depending on the property where they are hunting. During the past season early September hunters did exceptionally well on 170-210 B&C class mule deer bucks in the velvet…and in November our clients found the rutting bucks as they came out of the timber to chase does.
