Our main lodge is located just 15 minutes out of the modern town of Sheridan, WY. This outfitter controls and manages the wildlife on over 250,000 acres of property starting in the foothills of the Bighorns Mountains to the west and running all the way to the Powder River in the east. These vast properties allow them to spread out their hunters and focus on harvesting only mature trophy deer. The trophy deer on these hunts will average between 150-180 B&C with a handful of 180-200 B&C bucks taken every season and it is not uncommon for our clients to see 10-20 bucks a day on the average, and sometimes more. All hunting is primarily done by spot and stalk in relatively open but broken country. We have a near 100% success rate over the last ten years. Licenses are easily obtained prior to the March 15th license deadline and all of our hunters have the option of adding antelope to their mule deer package for a wonderful combination hunt. All hunting packages include meals, lodging, airport pickup and delivery, all trophies are properly caped and cared for in preparation for you to take them to your taxidermist. Guide ratio is 2x1 unless upgraded to 1x1 – our office handles all license applications. If you would like to book this hunt for the coming season please call our office for dates and availability.

With times being tight and hunters looking for a way to save some money but still get a high quality hunt this fall, we developed the three day mule deer and antelope combo hunts. You have a choice to hunt just for mule deer or with antelope in combination. These are the same high quality hunts for which Steve’s Outdoor Adventures is known, only on a shorter time frame. It should be noted that 90% of our trophy mule deer hunters are done in less than 2-3 days anyway, so look at this hunt for this fall and save some money. We will get you the best deer possible while hunting on tens of thousands of acres of private lands in northern Wyoming. We now have the ability to book our clients on a very exclusive and limited basis on a 70,000 acre private ranch with a five star lodge. This property is just across the Utah-Wyoming border and produces 180-200+ class bucks every season. They will accept a limited number of archery hunters in September and rifle hunters in early October. And when we say limited, we mean very limited.
